This PowerPack requires SMO 9.0 (2005) or 10.0 (2008) and SQL Server Powershell Extensions version 1.6 or higher. SQL Server version 2000 through 2008 are supported. In addition to use SQL Server Replication and Integration Services features RMO and Managed DTS runtime are needed. The RMO and Managed DTS along with SMO are installed as part of a SQL Server Management Studio installation.
The PowerPack includes functionality for browsing various SQL Server objects, managing security, scripting objects, managing SQL Server service, monitoring replicaiton, and managing SQL Server Integration Services.
