Synopsis:
Skype PowerPack enables Skype calls for any AD account, Exchange mailbox/user, or Org-Chart entry, Skype contacts calls and calls to conference calls from Outlook calendar.
Requirements:
PowerGUI 1.9.0 or later
Skype 4.1 or later
How to install:
1. Install Skype if do not have it yet on your desktop. Optionally install QAD cmdlets, Exchange Management Console, and respectively Active Directory, Exchange and Org-Chart PowerPacks - Skype PowerPack adds value to all of them.
2. Download the Skype.powerpack file attached to this article.
3. Run PowerGUI
4. In PowerGUI, on the File menu, click PowerPack Management.
5. In PowerPack Management dialog box, click Import and navigate to the Skype.powerpack file you saved (note that some browsers might change the file extension to .xml when downloading the file).
6. Close the dialog box.
7. You should now have Skype folder added to the left-hand tree listing your Skype contacts and today's appointments from Outlook, as well as Skype actions for users and mailboxes from Active Directory, Exchange 2007 and Org-Chart PowerPacks.
Supported features:
• Skype contacts list and ability to call them
• List of today's appointments from Outlook and ability to call the ones which have con call number (and optionally passcode) listed in appointment's Location field.
• Skype actions category letting you call office, home, and mobile number for any Active Directory user, Exchange mailbox owner, or person in the org-chart.
